The first attempt was clumsy,cutting old jeans into a saree that refused to pleat. But I didn’t stop. I discovered that denim cotton could be soft, light, and perfect for draping. With small batches of fabric, endless trials, and sheer persistence, I stitched my first denim saree. What began as a passion project soon became a movement. I wasn’t a fashion designer, just a woman with an idea and the will to make it real. From exhibitions to Instagram reels, I owned every stage. And slowly, those who doubted began to believe.
